Bio: Dr. Roderic Brame received his B.S. in Geology 1992 and M.S. in Science Education 1995 from Radford University and his Ph.D. from Virginia Polytechnic in Geosciences in 2001. He worked as an Asst. Professor of Geoscience Education at Wright State University, Assoc. Science Educator and Manager of Education for the American Geological Institute, Science Instructor at T.C. Williams High School and Academy at the Lakes, Asst. Professor of Science Education and Director of STEM Education at University of South Florida Polytechnic, Director for the Center of Innovation at All Saints Academy, and Assoc. Professor of Science Education and Director of STEM Education at Florida Southern College. He is constantly engaging partners in systemic efforts to improve STEM education and build STEM capacity. Impact areas include Los Angeles, Chicago, Pittsburg, Seattle, the state of Florida, and Alexandria, Virginia. Dr. Brame is an advocate for underrepresented groups in the teaching and learning of STEM subjects and mentors secondary, undergraduate, and graduate students as well as faculty, education leaders, and university faculty. His vision is to provide an education that is meaningful, motivating, intellectually developing, and encouraging to All students. He is married with 5 children and 4 grandchildren.

Bio: Rachel Brame received her B.A.S. in Social Science from the University of South Florida in 2012. She has worked as a professional artist and picture framer since 2000 and has served as the CEO of R&R Artworks for 5 years. Rachel’s art has been on display in galleries in Georgetown, Wash. D.C.; Alexandria, VA; Tampa, FL; Annapolis, MD; Charlotte, NC; Philadelphia, PA; and in private collections across the U.S. She is also credited in producing several published book covers and educational posters.
