Science Education
Several efforts by R2B2 to improve science education have been implemented in urban, suburban, and rural schools at the classroom, building, district, and national levels. We support the integration of subject areas, build highly qualified faculty through professional development, and conduct leadership training at all levels. Key needs we address are literacy in science and math content, curriculum development of ELL programs, and technology in Special Education.

R2B2's Education Philosophy
We create and test “hands-on minds-on” interactive science curriculum and activities for academic levels ranging from elementary school to College courses, as well as conduct professional development for educators. Our curriculum enhances students and teachers by helping to increase their understanding and synthesis of major concepts into an overall critical thinking process used for problem solving. Problem solving is used for discovery-based learning. Outcomes are positive with“can-do” attitudes about learning. Successful implementation of curriculum from elementary to college levels and professional development of teachers has been achieved and is continuing.
